P&I SERVICES
IMC’s Protection & Indemnity
specialists have extensive
diversity of experience —
strategically located in or near
major port areas.
Our team of marine surveyors and consultants specializing in P&I work has grown to 16 professionals since our inception. Before coming ashore, they accumulated extensive seagoing experience on all types of vessels, in ranks up to and including Master and Chief Engineer. They have worked as Fleet Managers, Marine Superintendents, Bulk Liquid Loss Control specialists, CDI inspectors, Terminal managers, harbor pilots, etc.
The diversity of experience within our team is one of our great strengths. IMC surveyors are frequently engaged by P&I clubs and their commercial or legal correspondents. Several major P&I underwriters list IMC as commercial correspondents. Our surveyors regularly respond to instructions from P&I clubs and their members throughout the Western Hemisphere, including Central and South America, the Caribbean and Canada. We stand ready to travel anywhere in the world in response to difficult casualties. Read more
